Double quote browse terms setup in the portal tool do not work as expected when viewing at the client end.

Create an item in the browse list using double quotes. Confirm the expected results are reached by assigning that browse list style to a portal, visit the portal browse tab and click the hyperlink.

I entered a term [women] and term label "Women" in the browse list. The double quotes are removed from the browse list but clicking on Women from the browse tab works as expected.

It is not clear to me whether it is expected that the Browse tab has "Women" or Women.


The double quotes will not be applied when first creating the label using thew widget. However the double quotes in the value submitted should stick and it looks like it did. You mentioned that it works as expected when searching. You can confirm this by after clicking the link in the browse list go to Edit My Search and see that it appears in the search form with the double quotes.


Please test using the search portal tool, once confirmed I will push change to all agents.

I entered "women" in Browse list and entered Women as the label. Then I used the test portal I created to test this and clicked on Women in the browse list. I got the 8 records in the results list (which is correct). When I went back to Edit my Search, "women" was carried over to the search box.

Works as expected and closing this bug.
