Cover sheet on newer deposits have different formatting

Project:RUcore Workflow Management System (WMS)
Version:7.7
Component:Faculty Deposit
Category:bug report
Priority:critical
Assigned:jjotto
Status:closed
Description

See attached. I just ingested <a href="https://mss3.libraries.rutgers.edu/dlr/showfed.php?pid=rutgers-lib:47008" title="https://mss3.libraries.rutgers.edu/dlr/showfed.php?pid=rutgers-lib:47008">https://mss3.libraries.rutgers.edu/dlr/showfed.php?pid=rutgers-lib:47008</a> and the cover sheet is different format than before (see attached). You can also see the difference if you pull up all my articles in SOAR and sort by most recent first. The first cover sheet is different than all the previous.

Jane, the browser setting on the PDF server (dev) was incorrect when the testing for 7.7 started. I asked Nick to change the setting, and it worked correctly since then. I am guessing your record was created before Nick made the change. Whether this is true or not, please go back to WMS and re-create the cover sheet. Make sure you clear your browser's cache before viewing the newly created cover sheet, otherwise you will still see the old version of cover sheet pdf. -YY

I recreated the cover sheet in dlr/EDIT for "Faculty Perception of Bullying in Schools of Nursing" (rutgers-lib-47008 in production). Cleared the cache. Pulled up the record. Refreshed. No University seal & no shaded blocks on the cover sheet.

Today, I also created a coversheet using Firefox browser, and got the same result as reported by jjotto. This is a systemic problem. I checked the last listed item on the SOAR Recent Submissions list (rutgers-lib:46131) and the SOAR Most Downloaded This Week list (rutgers-lib:47081) -- and neither of them have the watermarking that they should have.

On the PDF server, possibly both dev and production, the default web browser should be checked to see if they are set to "Print Background Images"

As Chad said in #4, it's the pdf server IE configuration issue. Test again. -YY
