User is not prevented from depositing multiple formats

Description

In the Scholar Deposit system, the file upload page clearly states that all files must be in the same format. However, the user is still able to upload multiple files that are in different file formats (e.g., a Word doc and an Excel doc). This results in only the original files being deposited and no presentation files are created.

The File Upload page should prevent the user from sending different file formats. Some options are:

Do not allow the user to select more than one kind of format. If the user selects a Word document, uploads a document, and then tries to select an Excel document, give a warning when they select the Browse button: "If you are uploading multiple files, they must all be in the same file format, e.g. all Word files. Please go BACK and try again."

Alternatively, if the user has successfully chosen multiple file formats, at the time they SUBMIT, give a warning: "You are uploading multiple files in different file formats. They must all be in the same file format, e.g. all Word files. Please go BACK and try again."

This feature was in place but was removed because of the request for WMS file upload just giving warnings. It's back to RUFD now. Test again. -YY

User cannot upload two kinds of files, and gets an error message if this is attempted. For example, if I selected Word doc, and tried to send in anything other than that (such as one Word doc and one PDF), I will get this:

There seems to be a problem processing your uploaded files.

File type error: the specified upload file type is doc, but system has detected: pdf.

You can click the "Check and resubmit" button to go back and resubmit the files. If in doubt or problem persists, please contact SOAR staff for assistance.

The error message is clear and consistent.
