Change link text in SOAR full record from "Complete Record" to "Staff View."

This request has been received from several RUL (mostly public services) faculty as well as the OA Policy Implementation Working Group. If possible, we would like this change by the OA Policy implementation date of September 1, 2015. I don't know if this change can be made in SOAR only, although I believe that if public services staff were queried, we would probably find a consensus that "Staff View" is more accurate--in any portal.

Let me ask Rhonda if this change should be made across the board; in all portals. It might make the most sense of the label used stays consistent. Rhonda, what are your thoughts?

Change "Complete Record" to "Staff View"

This can be done at anytime on all systems. Not code release dependent.

I've surveyed USAWG and all respondents are fully in favor of changing the term to Staff View for all displays and portals

Ah I see what you mean. Great find. That will require a code fix. Should I back out of the other change for now?

No, keep the Staff View on the main page. We'll just put the fix on the rest of the page in the next release, and keep this here to remind ourselves of what we are testing.


This was fully implemented in 7.6.2. Marking closed.
