Note: I stopped the script right after it started, so
there are two log files one for the first 3 objects
and then one for the entire run including the first
3 objects.

Here is a summary report on the first three runs.

Jeffery,

I reviewed the report and have a few questions. What does status code "201" mean? DOI public? Rhonda and I got 8432 emails in our inbox with a message indicating that the record has invalid date format; these DOIs have "reserved" state. I thought you're going to provide us a spreadsheet with rutgers-lib number and collection name for these resources so that we can delegate the work to catalogers in CTS. I don't know how I can easily export these messages from Zimbra into a spreadsheet.

It means that the DOI was successfully created, but it does not indicate whether there were issues involved in making the DOI public. We'll need an additional test of the current status of all these DOIs.

#9

Kalaivani,
Jeffery does not receive a report that lists the records for which you and I have been receiving emails from the doi-service. From a cursory review, those emails report two different "doi metadata" problems: one for publication dates -- which we have seen before -- and also for title. Many ETDs and NJEDL records are being reported as lacking a title when they clearly have one. We need to talk about how to get a report that can be output in an Excel spreadsheet so that we can manage this process.

Kalaivani and I reviewed the PIDs listed for this project and they seem to be done. Dave, can this be closed?

Jeffery,

Since you say all are done, I have marked this closed.

If you have a script that you used to identify them you
could always package it for me to run again to make
sure all records now have DOIs
