Error message when clicking Share your story link from cover sheet

Project:SOAR (Scholarly Open Access at Rutgers) Website
Version:1.0
Component:User interface
Category:bug report
Priority:critical
Assigned:ananthan
Status:closed
Description

I pulled up record no. rutgers-lib:44632, opened pdf, and clicked on "Share your story" link on the cover sheet. Was taken to the Share your story form on SOAR website, but this error message appeared across the top of the form; see attached.

•Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in eval() (line 8 of /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/acquia/oai/modules/php/php.module(80) : eval()'d code).

Ignore previous attachment (can't figure out how to delete it). Correct screenshot attached now.

config on RUcore production server was updated to point to soar production site instead of dev7-oa. (./rucore/rutgers-lib/lib/configs/story.php, line 15).

Share your story link on cover sheet now correctly redirects to soar production site.

Testing from the URL provided by Kalaivani today (<a href="https://rep-dev.libraries.rutgers.edu/cmmills/sAgents/7.6/" title="https://rep-dev.libraries.rutgers.edu/cmmills/sAgents/7.6/">https://rep-dev.libraries.rutgers.edu/cmmills/sAgents/7.6/</a>), I click on the "Your story matters" link from a cover sheet (202374) and get this message: This server no longer supports the Apache servcie URLs of rep-devel.libraries.rutgers.edu or rucore-devel.libraries.rutgers.edu

We migrated development environment and introduced a test environment along the way. This URL is no longer working or relevant and only applies to coversheets for resource on the test system that pre-date the change in environments. Best fix may be to regenerate all cover sheets on the test system for the SOAR portal. I am sure Jeffery can manage that if registered as a job/task.

I'm not sure what the problem is with this. As a test I recreated a coversheet for the object on rep-test which now has a rep-test URL rather than the obsolete rep-devel, but this redirects to
http://dev7-oa.libraries.rutgers.edu/share-your-story?id=rutgers-lib:202...
which has the following errors:
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in eval() (line 8 of /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/acquia/oai/modules/php/php.module(80) : eval()'d code).

For this feature the test SOAR site was pointing at the RUcore staging server for data. I changed it to point to the RUcore test environment. Error should go away now.

#7

I can confirm that. So does this mean we need to go through and change all the older SOAR coversheets on rep-test?

#8

I would suggest regenerations of all coversheets on test is done. Many changes have been made; not just the URL to Share Your Story. It would remove a good amount of confusion for the test group.
