If file uploaded doesn't match specified file type the system hangs

Description

On File Upload screen, I specify pdf as file type, but upload a Word document. I get a "No data received" error message from Chrome, and the "Processing Digital Files" popup, which then hangs.

I can't return to the File Upload page. (However, when I go to deposit again, the Description of Work page, instead of being blank, shows the previously completed form.)

This cannot be addressed correctly until we have exiftool in place (scheduled for release 7.5). So I suggest move this bug to 7.5. -YY
