After filling out FD form, version displays strangely on View Summary screen

Project:RUcore Workflow Management System (WMS)
Component:Faculty Deposit
Category:bug report

The version reads 'Version: 158 Accepted manuscript.'

More info: This happened during the following process:

I am depositing a subsequent version of an article already in the repository.
When I click submit, I get a nice pop-up (Beautiful! Thank you!) asking me to identify the earlier version from amongst my deposits.

I click the appropriate radio button, but am then returned to the original Description of Work page.

I know that logically this makes sense; I just left the form to select from the pop-up, and now I'm returned to it.

However, as a naive user, I am confused, as I'm not sure what I'm meant to do at this point. Don't you already have all this information about my article?

So I hit 'View Summary' and that's when I get the numbered version statement, like '95 Corrected version of record'

The Versioning spec says If ‘yes’ is checked, the system presents a list of the author’s previously submitted work (as a popup, or as a page, and this list comes from WMS). S/he selects the title, then the form is autopopulated with the metadata from the most recent previous version, which the depositor has the option to edit.

1. I don't think the form is autopopulating.

2. It might also be helpful to put a little message at the top of the deposit list popup saying the system will fill in the rest of the form based on the previously deposited version, and the user can make corrections as needed.
