Not working correctly.

Karen V. Ambrose Michael in RU directory
netid: kambrose

But when I gave the netID in the WMS, it only set up this:
Last Name, Ambrose Michael
First Name, Karen

Should have middle initial "V."

Oops, overlooked WMS side collection creation. Was only thinking RUFD automatic collection creation functionality. Test again. -YY

It works for someone whose name has a middle initial, such as this one: Maradonna, Rory P. (netID is maradonn)

But it did not work for someone with a middle name:
Nosratabadi, Seyed Hassan (netID is sn351)
Established in the WMS as:
Last Name: Nosratabadi
First Name: Seyed Hassan
Middle Name: Hassan
... so that it now appears as: Nosratabadi Seyed Hassan Hassan Collection

What can I say? LDAP add full middle name to the end of its firstname entry, but doesn't add middle initial. This kind of irregularity makes it really difficulty for our side of code to deal with. Do we just guess the second word of their firstname entry to be the middle name? Then what about Mary Beth? -YY

One thing I implied but forgot to mention in #6, is that Rutgers LDAP does not have middlename field. So all WMS is doing for this matter is to guess the middle name from full name, which is, you can imagine, totally unreliable. My suggestion is we investigate other solutions to the matter in future releases. -YY
