These "General Resources" collection are placeholders automatically created. We would only be able to turn them all off, or keep them all on. Since we are moving away from hybrid collections into subscription items at the portal level I think removing them all together would be the best option.

Let me know what you would to happen and if a more in-depth explanation is needed..

This is removed from the search form hierarchical trees.

The empty General Resources collections are gone on the development server. Test again when this release goes to the production server.
