descriptive title not recognized

Description
After entering a main title in the descriptive metadata section, the system is not allowing me to upload a digital file. A note appears telling me that I must enter a main title, which of course I already did.

I did not try to upload a digital file, but after completing several fields (main title, language, genre, subject-topic), I went to save the record and received the message:
"Main title in the descriptive metadata must be entered."
